The Utility Field App is a client application for ExpandShare’s knowledge sharing platform.
Key features
- Developed and optimized for iPad, also usable with iPhone
- Secure login restricted access
- Dashboard shows current inspections status and full list of stations connected to each user, listed by geographic proximity
- Accordion view shows dates of latest inspection, link to Start new checklist and to view substation history
- Operators can update their shift status to one of 6 options
- Map shows user's current location with blue dot and substations in color based on their inspection status
- Substation page accessible from Dashboard or Map views
- Prior submission data available for review
- Start buttons take user directly to ExpandShare app to complete inspections online or offline
- Substation search box available on Dashboard and all station pages
- Stations list equipment details with link to update Equipment History Log
- Aerial view available on all station pages
The OperatorDashboard app is free to download and use with your ExpandShare account.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
